Candidate Profile:
The Hotel Booking Coordinator is responsible for providing on-demand booking services for our Hotel Engine customers and Groups team. He/She will also be excepted to support the Groups team by fulfilling business hotel requests, handling adjustments to hotel reservations with the hotels, and providing support when needed. Success comes from providing world-class customer service, speedy response time, and the ability to create quick, positive relationships over the phone.
Responsibilities (include but not limited to):
- Customer service focused, going above and beyond for clients and travelers.
- Book hotel reservations on behalf of clients as needed.
- Ability to see an issue before it arises and resolve it quickly.
- Team player that can assist our team in fulfilling business hotel requests.
- Capable of obtaining, analyzing and processes hotel folios within our system.
- Ability to communicate and work across departments to achieve goals
- Self-starter and self-motivated
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of hotel customer service or hospitality degree.
- Proven outstanding customer service, preferably within the hotel industry.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; excellent interpersonal, negotiation and problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrated strong organizational skills
- Capability to meet demanding client expectations and maintain professional composure, while managing and working on multiple bookings simultaneously.
Preferred Education
Bachelor’s degree and 1+ years of hospitality experience
