Helpdesk Support is the first point of contact in the event an employee encounters a software or hardware related issues with their computer. In this role, you will analyze and repair computer hardware, software, and associated peripherals that users submit to our ticketing system.

 

How You’ll Do It

  • Setup, install, and configure PC and Mac computers
  • Troubleshoot computer, operating system, application, and network connectivity issues.
  • Support employees assigned applications and operating system platforms. Examples: Microsoft Office Suite; Zoom; Slack
  • Manage users, contacts, and distribution groups within Microsoft 365
  • Provide phone support for remote users
  • Smartphone assistance
  • Primarily entails adding corporate email connectivity
  • Manage office phone system
  • Involves adding/deleting/troubleshooting desk phone issues
  • Train end users on hardware, software, and peripherals as needed.

 

What You’ll Bring

  • Strong working knowledge of MS Windows and Apple MacOS operating systems in a corporate environment
  • Familiarity supporting users in an Active Directory/Microsoft 365 ecosystem
  • Ability to communicate technical information to employees with a wide variety of backgrounds and technical aptitude.
  • Flexibility supporting users remotely and in-person at the office
  • Day to Day Activities consist of:
  • Resolving Email/Calendar issues
  • Addressing complaints about slow laptops or start-up issues
  • Adding/removing users from distribution groups
  • General network connectivity issues
  • Creating and configuring laptops for new users
  • Assisting users that move locations in the office
  • Assign security badges as needed
  • Assist with conference room audio/visual problems
  • Troubleshooting printer/copier issues
  • Supporting users that may be remote. This requires communicating via phone and remote administration of their laptops.
  • Shipping hardware to remote employees. (Could entail travel to a FedEx location)
  • Taking broken Mac’s computer to the Apple store.
  • Calling Dell tech support to arrange on-site repair
  • In general, answering any question that a user has about their technology

 

Salary

$40,000-60,000
