What you’ll do:

The Provider Network Management (PNM) department acts as the liaison between internal departments and external customers by promptly identifying and resolving provider and vendor issues and responding to inquiries. Additionally, the department is responsible for the oversight and management of Pinnacol Assurance’s SelectNet PPO and vendor contracting functions. 

The Contract Coordinator will support both the provider and vendor contracting functions executed within the PNM department in an effort to meet the contracting and relationship management needs of the organization and will assist in various projects to support the maintenance of the provider network.

This person will work collaboratively with the Healthcare Contract Specialist 

  1. Support provider contracting efforts.
  2. Assist with maintenance of provider and vendor contract databases, ensuring accuracy and integrity.
  3. Assist in the creation and maintenance of the contract templates.
  4. Provide general administrative support to the contract management function.

What you can expect:

  • Assists in preparing amendments, contract templates, and other materials in connection with the contracting process.
  • Ensure all required documents and information are received and validated for the vendor file.
  • Maintains the tracking system in Salesforce for contracts and related documents/correspondence.
  • Communicates internally with key stakeholders, including and not limited to Provider Relations, Credentialing, Medical Payment|Audit, Claims, Medical Case Management and other departments as necessary.
  • Assists in maintaining a process for communicating new contracts, contract terms, and directory updates with the Medical Case Management and Claims department, MOHS and other applicable departments.
  • Maintains effective working relations with SelectNet providers, vendors and medical groups.
  • Participates and may lead training for internal staff regarding contracting efforts, needs and process.
  • Responsible for monitoring and maintaining contract electronic files.
  • Provide Tier II support for PNM ACD Line- serving as primary contract for internal and external inquiries, ensuring professional and timely response in accordance with established departmental metrics.
  • Provide support for medical payments queue requests and updates to vendor records in accordance with established departmental metrics.
  • Maintain and ensure strict confidentiality of  provider-specific information and files.
  • Contract education for internal and external customers 
  • Contract component maintenance
  • Assist Provider Network Operation Coordinator with some tasks including working the bill queue
  • Attend staffing with Contract Specialist, Legal, Quality Control Analyst, etc. 
  • Provide coverage for the following disciplines: Provider Network Operations Coordinator, Physician Advisor Program, Credentialing Coordinator and the PNM ACD line.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to meet business needs.

What you need to be successful:

  • Prior experience working in a provider organization or managed care plan is preferred.
  • Contract drafting and maintenance experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate effectively; knowledge and application of English grammar including composition, editing and proofreading skills.
  • Proficient with Google Workspace and MS Office 
  • Salesforce knowledge and proficiency is preferred.
  • Polished professional with the ability to communicate effectively with professionals at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to produce accurate and precise work; to detect and resolve discrepancies, and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to effectively work independently and part of a team.
  • Strong organizational, time management and project management skills with multi-tasking abilities.

If you decide to come into the office, we’re just seven miles from downtown Denver, in the heart of the Lowry neighborhood. Our office is minutes away from a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, fitness facilities and lush parks and open spaces.
