As part of our new retail wireless department , we'll partner with product managers and engineers to solve customer problems in an agile environment. The product teams are key enablers of our success, immersing themselves in every aspect of the product development lifecycle - from strategy ideation to launch execution and everything in between.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
Reporting to the VP Consumer Products, this position will manage a multi-tiered team with responsibility for the retail wireless device launch and lifecycle management for all retail brands and channels.
This role will lead the process for DISH Wireless launch checklists, marketing and sales alignment, and channel optimization of all OEM network connected devices. Additionally, the role with collaborate with device OEMs on ensuring all factors related to device success in consumer facing channels are optimized. This role necessitates a strong, cross-functional leader who is eager to build relationships internally and externally while defaulting towards collaborative problem solving.

  • The role will work with significant cross-functional partners internally and external vendors to help define, align and achieve Dish Wireless goals;
  • Oversee Device Lifecycle Management activities, including tracking sales performance, pricing, promotions, MOL/EOL decisions and recommendations to achieve business goals;
  • Create product success measures throughout lifecycle, including product reporting, and clear and concise performance tracking tools to focus attention on areas of improvement;
  • Recruit, hire, and develop a team of similarly collaborative, hardworking team members that can support both internal and external partners in a positive way;
  • Build business frameworks, checklists, and processes that will allow the enterprise to align clearly to the GTM launch timelines in an efficient manner.


Skills, Experience and Requirements

  • Candidates will have 10+ years of experience in product management, product planning, and go-to-market management for consumer products;
  • Collaborative, hands-on approach to work that is reflected through their management style and employee communications;
  • Track record of working for a world-class mobile or technology company within a high-growth, high-change environment with a focus on process development and improvement;
  • 5+ years of directly managing a team of 4 or more in-office and remote individuals.
  • A BA/BS in a related discipline is required; MBA preferred.


Salary Range
Compensation: $115,500.00/Year - $165,000.00/Year
