We are seeking a Head of Relationship Management that is excited to lead and develop a team of data-driven tech lodging experts in a high-growth, dynamic environment. This position will oversee the relationship management and partner management teams. In addition, our Head of RM will oversee the supplier acquisition process, drive process improvements, and implement key improvements to the account management process to unlock the power of the supplier network. This position will also work with key cross-functional leaders to drive results. This position will report directly to the SVP of Operations.
Responsibilities
- Assume key acquisition leadership and vision for our supply network
- Attract, lead, coach, engage and motivate a high-performing, high-growth organization of Relationship Management team
- Deep dive into pipeline development, deal forecasting, and execution to refine and upscale processes
- Expand Hotel Engine’s leadership position in North America and drive international expansion of our supply network
- Represent Hotel Engine, provide local technology/industry expertise and build Hotel Engine’s company profile and relationships with press, partners and industry influencers (e.g., hotel partners, Ministries of Tourism, destination management associations, etc.)
- Contribute to and lead cross functional and global Hotel Engine initiatives, influence product and business investments, champion change, continuous innovation/testing/learning
- Collaborate cross-functionally with key partners in Data, Marketing, Product and Sales to align on customer focus and ensure inventory and rates meet customer demands
- Mentor, coach and develop acquisition team leaders and their teams to meet business objectives
- Define & refine acquisition process, incentives, training, and sales methodology
- Sustain a team culture driven by performance
- Drive accountability and foundation for predictable results
- Be a key member of the acquisition leadership team; lead vs. be led, contribute perspective and business acumen to scale for Hotel Engine
- Ensure regional hotel products (content, rates and availability) are consistently competitive to maximize global customer demand, conversion and marketplace growth
- Continuously develop and grow engagement with Hotel Engine’s full suite of technologies, market insights, marketing programs, merchandising opportunities and audiences
Education & Experience:
- 4+ years' of leadership experience in account management or sales
- 2+ years' managing account managers or sales reps
- Prior experience thriving in a high growth organization, preferably a startup
- Proficiency in leading a team through coaching, development, and training, while also delegating responsibilities to empower others to grow
- Process implementation and orientation that drives specific and consistent sales methodology across all stages of the sales process
- Working knowledge of the lodging industry
Remote Opportunities:
- This role is eligible for remote work and you can work from anywhere in the U.S.
Compensation:
- In addition to a compelling equity and bonus package, a reasonable expectation of a base compensation for this role is about $160,000 - $180,000 per year. Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including prior experience, expertise & may vary from the amount above.
