Job Description 

This role is helping build out new professional services for the company to best meet its customers’ needs. Reporting to the Chief Customer Officer, the Head of Professional Services will have a keen focus on helping build the strategy and development of the company’s onboarding programs and strategic project management engagements with customers. Key areas of focus are to design and deliver an implementation experience for customers that will allow them to access more relevant information as needed to successfully deploy PlayerLync across their organization. This role will also oversee the management of our customers’ systems integrations to our PlayerLync app as well as other necessary services to help customers successfully deploy the solution. The Head of Professional Services will ensure that customers’ time to value is efficient and effective, resulting in long-term customer success.

 

Responsibilities

  • Learn the technical details concerning how PlayerLync works and what problems it solves for our customers
  • Learn the business application/use cases of PlayerLync to ensure appropriate technical solutions are enabling the business needs
  • Work with senior management to design and build a professional services strategy to meet the company’s growth targets
  • Manage a team of onboarding and/or project management team members
  • Assess Project requirements, resources, capacity, budget, and timelines prior to project launch
  • Understand each stakeholder needed to be involved in professional services projects, and be able to effectively represent their needs and goals
  • Understand relevant third-party solutions that are within the PlayerLync ecosystem, and build relationships accordingly
  • Identify areas where we can improve stakeholder satisfaction, then communicate those issues and possible solutions to management
  • Set and achieve team goals that contribute to PlayerLync’s overall revenue targets

 

Skills & Experience

  • 10+ years of project management experience, ideally in SaaS environment
  • Managed projects with enterprise-level stakeholders
  • Has proven track record of achieving project success within (or ahead) of timelines
  • Previous services experience required, must have had roles where s/he worked directly with customers
  • Excellent ability to manage stakeholder expectations (for example, with Prospects/Customers/Internal Stakeholders)
  • Excellent communication and diplomacy skills
