Who You Are

Hospitality is at the core of who you are. You have some experience in restaurants, hotels, or other customer service organizations. You’re organized, personable, energetic and you’ll always go that extra mile to make sure the job gets done and the guest is happy. You have an uncanny ability to uncover a customer’s needs by asking the right questions and truly listening to their answers. Your colleagues are amazed at your attention to detail and the thoroughness with which you follow up and follow through on your commitments. You’re genuine in your approach, and you can diffuse difficult situations by reassuring customers that you have everything under control. As such, people trust you and value your recommendations. Your time is flexible, so you’re available 20-30 hours each week and can help our team on weekends, evenings, and some holidays, depending on our guests’ needs. 

How You Can Help

As an InvitedHome Guest Experience Specialist, you’ll delight our guests through great communication and clear expectation setting. In this role, you’ll support our guests with consistent, reliable, thorough, luxury service. You’ll help guests elevate and upgrade their vacations, so being open to some sales coaching is a big plus. And as our direct line to our customers before they arrive in our homes, you’ll help us improve our operations and services each and every day.

How else?

Your day-to-day tasks will include:

• Provide an exceptional guest experience while working in conjunction with our local destinations’ hospitality services teams.

• Proactively communicate with guests prior to arrival to set expectations, help them plan the details of their trips.

• Assist with booking excursions and adventures, from ski passes to restaurant reservations.. 

• Offer guidance on travel logistics like which airports to fly into and what types of rental cars to reserve. 

• Coordinate in-home amenities like groceries, babysitters, and private chefs. 

• Gather details about guests before their trips, so we can make their vacations special, amazing, and priceless.

• Diffuse situations where something has gone awry, and reassure our guests (and your manager) that we’ve got the solution handled.

• Help us build a guest-request database that’s so informative and thoughtful even a novice could field guests’ questions like a pro.

• Stay on top of what’s happening with guests in multiple destinations so we can keep surprises to a minimum and get out ahead of problems.

• Drive loyalty and growth by building relationships - old and new - with guests, vendors, your teammates, and any other interested parties that come your way.
