Title: Global Privacy Manager

Position Summary
This role reports to the Director of Compliance and will be primarily responsible for overseeing the company's global privacy strategy.
What You Are Accountable For
- Manage, operationalize, and further mature Prove's global privacy program, including but not limited to privacy/data protection impact assessments, transfer impact assessments, data protection officer (DPO) strategy, mechanisms for cross-border data transfers, data subject requests, and controller/processor designations and obligations.
- Partner with other Prove stakeholders (such as Legal, Information Security, Technical Operations, and Product) to further incorporate privacy by design and privacy by default principles into company processes.
- Assist with researching, drafting, and reviewing commercial agreements regarding data privacy and data security contractual provisions (such as Data Processing Agreements).
- Assist with researching, drafting, and reviewing privacy-related company policies and procedures.
- Assist with privacy training and awareness goals, including a company-wide privacy champions program.
- Promote, maintain, and enhance our cultural values of humility, passion, inclusion, and leadership.
- Strong passion for learning about our products and markets through in-house and external training.
What We Require
- 3-5 years of experience implementing a comprehensive global privacy program in a business setting
- Deep understanding of global privacy laws, including CCPA/CPRA, PIPEDA, GDPR, and LGPD
- Significant experience using the OneTrust platform
- JD, CIPP/US, or CIPP/E preferred but not required
- Ability to work in a multi-product, global, and evolving environment while organizing and managing multiple responsibilities and projects with competing priorities and deadlines
- Demonstrated success working with a remote team
- Experience in cybersecurity, fintech, or fast-growing startup is required
- Experience in a high-growth tech startup growing from $50m to $200m in ARR
