GES Business Operations Manager
Job Description:
Arrow Electronics is currently seeking a Business Operations Manager to work in our Arrow Corporate IT division at our global headquarters in Centennial, CO! We are seeking someone with a strong background in project/program management, analysis, business strategy, operations, and financials. This individual will play a key role in managing Arrow's global asset tracking and corporate IT financials from an operational perspective. Want to know more?
Principal Accountabilities
- Responsible for developing and executing activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and budget and resource estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. They proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables through all project phases. Capable of managing multiple and large complex global project, such as ERP integrations, project which cross geographic. Development of collaborative project plans delivery schedules.
- Managing project resources in a cross-functional global environment.
- Budget Management.
- Delivers effective communication strategies from Project team member to Project stakeholders and providing effective status reports.
- Manages and mitigating project risks.
- Assist with the design and development of applications, working with IT Business Analysts and development team.
- Provide high level cost estimates for projects.
- Create project plans and perform status reporting.
- Manage project resources and task completion.
- Technical support for testing, production issues & implementation.
- Other duties as assigned.
Job Responsibilities
- Collect, document, prioritize and manage requests from internal and external sources.
- Participate in the program design and planning that determine the IT business strategy and roadmap.
- Proactively monitor, manage and report on execution of deliverables through all strategy phases. Development of program delivery schedules.
- Direct resources in a cross-functional global environment.
- Budget, forecast and project financial management.
- Provides Industry Best Practices for IT financials.
- Delivers effective communication and status to Executive Program stakeholders.
- Manages and mitigates program risks.
Job Requirements
- 10-12 years of hands-on Project Management/Program Management, Business Operations, Financial Analysis, or combination.
- Proven history managing enterprise level global Corporate IT budgets in millions.
- Experience managing 3rd party vendors, contracts, asset tracking, and financial analysis.
- Knowledge of industry best practices and ability to pull and report on data from trusted sources such as Gartner/Forrester.
- Hands-on experience building financial reports, charts, and ability to present findings up to VP and C-level.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience working with the Clarity software platform.
- Global experience managing programs and financials for regions not limited to: Americas, LATAM, EMEA, APAC, DACH, etc.
Experience / Education
Typically requires a minimum of 12 years of related experience with a 4 year degree; or 8 years and an advanced degree; or equivalent related experience.
