As the Front of House Assistant for the Denver Office your mission will be to "provide exceptional support services within beautiful work environments that inspire and enable staff to create beautiful outcomes" .
A typical day in this role will be extremely varied. You'll be carrying out administrative tasks such as assisting with building maintenance providing secure access to our offices, supplying staff with ID's and access cards, meeting room movements, processing mail and courier packages, notifying and liaising with contractors on building maintenance issues. You will help arrange and assist with office events and catering, and other ad-hoc duties which may include some lifting.
What you'll do
- Provide a helpful and welcoming experience for Xero's and all visitors to Xero.
- Maintain a beautiful well-stocked front of house.
- Liaise with Xero's and external contractors, such as cleaners, to ensure quality results with minimal disruption.
- Organise Access and ID Cards for all staff and contractors.
- Assist with travel and accommodation requests for employees following Xero's policy and procedures.
- Process purchase orders and invoices relating to WX (Workplace Experience) team activities.
- Assist with WX related reporting and auditing procedures i.e occupancy and other reports.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail, organise couriers where required.
- Assist with management of our Facilities. Including (but not limited to) receiving/logging job requests, liaising with Landlords and contractors to schedule work, seeing jobs completed to satisfaction, and communicating with Xero staff.
- Help and support the WX team achieve its goals.
- Note: this is just a guide, things change often at Xero so we expect people to pick up anything else as directed by their manager.

What you'll bring with you - experience
- Front of House and Reception functions within a corporate environment is advantageous
- Ideal if you have had experience carrying out facilities support services within a fast paced, ever changing office environment
- Experience learning and mastering new software systems.
- Experience within a team-based environment working with a diverse range of backgrounds
- Attention to detail , accuracy and organisational skills
- Hospitality, barista, and customer service experience helpful

- Ability to quickly learn new systems and processes
- Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with staff and service providers
- Great customer service skills with confidence in dealing with customers in an effective, friendly and professional manner
- Strong organisational and planning skills with the ability to effectively prioritise workload to ensure that multiple activities are completed in an efficient manner to a high standard
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Proactive, self starter with the ability to quickly adapt

Total compensation for this role includes an hourly rate of $ 23.07 - $ 24.04 USD (Annual rate of $48,000 - $50,000) commensurate with experience, plus an annual grant of Xero shares, calculated as a percentage of base salary.
