About the Job

Our Executive Assistant is responsible for executing a variety of administrative and operational support to the CEO. This isn’t your standard 9 to 5 job. You’ll need to be available and flexible to the needs of the business. You’ll gain exposure to all aspects of a high growth mid size company, working closely with the CEO and Leadership team. 

What You’ll be Doing:

  • Provide high quality, dedicated support to our CEO.
  • Effectively manages CEO’s calendar including prioritizing inbound requests and coordinating meetings with internal team members and external partners.
  • Proactively know the schedule in advance to anticipate and solve schedule conflicts, including coordinating prep materials to inform the CEO, along with reminders on the type of meeting and who it’s with. 
  • Welcome guests, guide them to meetings, order and pick up lunch on occasion. 
  • Create correspondences, reports, presentations, spreadsheets, and databases and any other ad-hoc projects that come up.
  • Manage travel arrangements, domestic and international, including booking flights, hotels, transportation and dining.
  • Organize, track and manage finances, including invoices, receipts and expenses.
  • Conference Registrations, logistics, and material preparation.
  • Coordinate Board meetings, Leadership off-sites and all-hands meetings.
  • Provide administrative support to our Leadership team as needed.
  • Coordinate, plan and execute company events, including Holiday Party, Summer Party, Gather and Give, and other company wide events. 
  • Manage relationships and contracts with vendors, service providers, catering companies and property managers.  
  • Assist in managing conference room bookings.

Oh yeah, you have a sense of humor and patience.

The Successful Candidate Will Have:

  • Prior experience supporting a chief executive at a high tech company.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform and prioritize multiple tasks with attention to detail. 
  • Clear, concise and engaging written and verbal communication.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality and work with highly sensitive data and information.
  • Proficiency in using GSuite products (Google Calendar, GMail, GDrive, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Hangouts) Slack, EOS, and Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel and Word).
  • Strong problem solving skills with creative approaches.
  • Dangerously curious, not afraid to ask questions.
  • Willingness to learn. It’s the single most important trait of successful people. 
  • Growth Mindset: We are a growing company and need people who will take initiative, fail fast, and learn from their mistakes to be successful.

This position reports to: CEO

Location: Boulder, Colorado. (Sovrn’s corporate office is partially open. This is not a remote opportunity, this position requires you to be on site in our Boulder office).

Compensation and Benefits

In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate compensation range for this role in Boulder, Colorado is $75,000 to $85,000, including base salary and any related bonuses or commissions. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications and geographic location.
