Position Description
Zayo is looking for an upwardly mobile Event, Travel & Social Media Coordinator to work alongside our CIO and her Service, Sales, Tranzact and IT organizations. Responsibilities
- Provide all facets of administrative support
- Coordinate calendars for meetings, speaking engagements, hiring, and marketing events
- Create, curate, and post quality Zayo social media content for our team
- Be the point of contact for executives, senior managers, employees, vendors, and customers
- Facilitate and participate in internal and external communications, including social media
- Track and follow up on action items
- Research and report on industry events and innovation awards, then manage the application/registration process
- Provide coordination and leadership on key speaking engagements and other events
- Schedule and coordinate interviews with new hire candidates
- Make domestic and global travel arrangements
- Create and maintain organization charts
- Manage events, budgets, and logistics for team meetings, hackathons, volunteering and networking functions in Colorado and across the globe including booking a conference room and assisting with organizing any materials needed for the meeting

Qualifications
- BA or 2+ years of general office management experience, including supporting an executive
- Ability to effectively manage complex calendars with multiple conflicts and shifting priorities
- Team player who is able to communicate effectively within the organization and with outside vendors and clients
- Computer skills including PC, MAC, Word, PowerPoint, Google Docs, Excel, Gmail, Internet, and Outlook
- Excellent analytical, judgment and decision-making skills with the ability to adapt to change
- Ability to maintain high level of professionalism, confidentiality, discretion, and judgment
- Ability to occasionally work outside of normal business hours
