Alteryx is seeking an Event Manager for the Global Customer Enablement team. The Event Manager can expect direct interaction with executives, internal teams, customers, and partners. They will lead event planning development and execution in support of the department and the larger organizational event strategies to enhance the customer enablement in this rapidly growing team and organization.
What you will do:
The position is responsible for the operational excellence and deliverables for the customer enablement events and customer experience including but not limited to webinars, global corporate events such as Inspire, and in person/remote department events.

  • Solid people management skills to work and motivate teams
  • Strong customer service and executive interaction experience
  • Understand company brand and enablement strategy with the ability to ensure consistent, on-brand messaging and customer experiences
  • Communicate regular event updates to management including Executive leadership
  • Pre, onsite and post event logistical management
  • Determine event goals, create, and track measurements and metrics including event surveys
  • Manage external relationships (agencies, vendors) and work with internal teams to deliver on agreed upon schedule and content
  • Ability to manage multi projects at a given time w/a high level of expertise and skill
  • Experience in managing event budgets, analysis, and reporting
  • Ability to lead and manage projects from strategy to execution
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as needed - evenings and weekends


Required Skills:

  • Four year college degree (or additional relevant experience in a related field)
  • Minimum 5 years functional experience including a minimum of 3 years position specific experience;
  • 3-5+ years event management experience planning customer centric events in technology, fast-paced environment
  • 3-5+ years of strong people and vendor management expertise
  • 3-5+ years in project management experience
  • Excellent organizational, written, verbal communication and customer service skills
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint)


Compensation:
Alteryx is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. This position is remote-friendly and, as such, compensation will ultimately be in line with the location in which the position is filled. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors such as a candidate's relevant work experience, skills, certifications, and geographic location. This role is eligible for variable compensation including bonus and stock grants.
