ESG Reporting & Operations, Sr. Manager
Responsibilities
- Ensure implementation of the ESG strategic initiative and plans are effectively managed and milestones are achieved.
- Own global ESG reporting, i.e., KPI tracking and reporting, website and ESG data center disclosures, and manage Workiva’s internal ESG scorecard.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and subject-matter experts across the business to update disclosures, policies, and KPIs (Proxy, 10K, ESG Data Center, etc.).
- Lead technology implementation and integration of the ESG Workiva Solution to manage our ESG reporting, data, and template creation.
- Support the Senior Director of ESG in managing Workiva’s external relationships with key ESG rating agencies (MSCI, ISS, etc.) and customer RFPs.
- Collect and curate data and examples of Workiva’s ESG performance across the organization and partner with Communications department to elevate internally and externally by using various media channels (website, social, etc.).
- Engage all relevant departments to support data governance and controls, and facilitate external third-party auditing.
- Create status reports to inform ESG Task Force and CFO executive chair.
- Serve as Secretary to the ESG Task Force providing meeting minutes, meeting recordings, and agendas.
What You'll Need
Education
- Undergraduate Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in a related field.
- Minor or certifications in environmental, social, and governance, public policy, corporate social responsibility, sustainability or related field, a plus.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or similar project management certification, preferred
- Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to set priorities, meet deadlines, and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, changing environment
- Ability to create project plan organization for ESG Task Force and WorkStreams
- Technical capacity - strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, make decisions and resolve issues with minimal supervision
- Ability to research, analyze, and succinctly report data
- Advanced knowledge of Wdesk features, preferred
- 6+ years project management experience within a large, preferably global, organization, with increased job responsibilities over the years
- 1-3 years experience with CSR and ESG reporting with framework and third party investor ratings
- Experience leading and facilitating group process and collaboration
- Proficient knowledge of Workiva solutions, a plus
- 30% travel to meet with project teams and stakeholders
- Reliable internet access for any period of time working remotely, not in a Workiva office.
How You'll Be Rewarded
- Base Pay Range in Colorado: $104,000- $151,000
- Discretionary bonus typically paid annually
- Restricted Stock Units granted at time of hire
The base pay range represents the low and high end of the hiring range for this job. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
