Pax8 is looking for an email migration specialist a great work ethic to join our professional services team at our growing startup. Be a part of our team that has boots on the ground, helping our partners day in and day out by lending our know-how to take on projects they cant!

Primary Responsibilities

• Provide ad-hoc technical support during email and Skype for Business (Skype) migration activities, as needed to minimize disruption to customers
• Email-related support, such as but not limited to the following:
• Support to the public folder remediation efforts (e.g. SEM creation, addressing open tickets, etc.)
• Troubleshooting and support during migration activities
• Outlook client configuration and troubleshooting
• Skype- related support
• Troubleshooting and support during migration activities
• Provide timely and relevant information to end-users and assist in alleviating pain points
• End-User support as required for Outlook/Skype clients

Additional Duties May Include:

• Ensuring continuation of consistent, stable, and robust production environments throughout migration process.
• Provide post-migration support.
• Writing and updating operational documentation.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least two years technical and architectural knowledge of the following technologies: O365, messaging, OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Windows Server Active Directory, ADFS etc.
• Previous migration experience to Microsoft O365 or M365
• Migrate on premise emails to O365 without business disruption.
• PowerShell scripting experience required.
• Experience with general infrastructure, cloud platforms, and application hosting options with a detailed understanding of their service area within the Office Systems domain.
