The Strategic Operations (StratOps) Strategic Support Unit, consists of Washington DC Operations, Marketing & Communications and Strategic Development. The StratOps team promotes and elevates the business within our markets, works with customers and competition to influence and drive the growth of Ball Aerospace and facilitates collaboration across the business enterprise to increase opportunities.
Duplication/Scanning Specialist III
What You’ll Do:
- Operate and repair duplication and scanning equipment.
- Prepare documents for reprographics processing.
- Operate copiers/duplicators, facsimile machines, bindery equipment, collators, cutters, staplers, folder/perforators, padding presses, paper drills and punches.
- May operate a satellite copy center.
- Interface with customers on job requirements, job status, completion time, and method of pickup or delivery; respond to queries or requests from internal or external customers.
- Make minor repairs and adjustments to film, press, copier, bindery or facsimile equipment and interface with manufacturers’ service personnel as necessary.
- Schedule jobs for effective reprographics processing.
- Develop supply and material lists necessary for timely product delivery.
- Maintain required records and logs in accordance with BATC policies and government regulations.
- Maintain a regular and predictable work schedule.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships within the department, the Strategic Business Units, Strategic Support Units and the Company. Interact appropriately with others in order to maintain a positive and productive work environment.
- Perform other duties as necessary.
What You’ll Need:
- High School diploma or equivalent plus 6 years or more related experience.
- Each higher-level related degree, i.e., Bachelor’s or Master’s, may substitute for two years of related experience. Degree must be from a university, college, or school which is accredited by an agency recognized by the US Secretary of Education, US Department of Education.

- Work is performed in an office environment, laboratory, cleanroom, or production floor.
- Travel and local commute between Ball campuses and other possible non-Ball locations may be required.
Relocation for this position is not available.
Compensation & Benefits:
- HIRING SALARY RANGE: $22.12 - $29.33 per hour (Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
