The Director of Organizational Development role will support the organization-wide People strategy by driving execution of organizational development, workforce planning, talent management, internal communication, learning, and change management necessary to scale the business.

Scope & Key Responsibilities

  • Partners closely with senior leaders to understand business challenges and opportunities Diagnoses organizational problems that are interfering with performance
  • Designs and leads change management efforts in response to new/shifting company strategy and goals
  •  Creates strategies for and drives initiatives leading to increased employee satisfaction and productivity – using levers including diversity, inclusion, career growth, communications, leadership culture and more
  • Designs and delivers support for leaders on how to lead through change
  •  Directs efforts to design and implement org structures and workforce planning to meet strategic business goals
  • Directs company internal communications and employment brand strategy and execution in support of employee engagement and culture
  • Facilitates leadership and teams to achieve strategic alignment, team effectiveness, and desired culture
  • Supports definition of new organizational structures and practices, setting strategy for the related people practices (capabilities, learning needs, culture)
  • Provides thought-leadership to design and implementation of internal and external learning communities
  •  Accountable for identifying, designing, and delivering training programs and/or interventions that help build exceptional talent
  •  Creates an exceptional experience for candidates and new employees that differentiates Housecall Pro other companies 

Influence & Accountability

  • Develops and executes the organization-wide culture and internal communication strategy 
  • Accountable for organization wide workforce planning & the ability to scale with the business growth strategy
  • Ensures talent readiness, assessment, promotion readiness, and manages the career structure
  • Develops a sought-after employment brand
  • Creates a scalable learning infrastructure supporting all current and future employees

Core Qualifications & Experience:

  • 7-10 years of experienced in human resources, organizational development, communication, or consulting management
  • 2-5 years experience with direct people management
  •  Experience working with executives and senior leaders
  • Advanced facilitation and consulting practice skills; experience delivering leadership development with people managers
  • Skilled  in designing written communication campaigns, internal and external communities
  • High degree of business acumen and experience working with C-Suite level clients
  •  Preferred experience in SaaS and Global Workforces

Compensation: Minimum $125k;­ Annual Bonus Potential + Equity

Location

We are actively hiring in San Diego, CA and Denver, CO. Majority of our employees work remotely but we have an office in the RINO district if employees choose to come in.
