As the Director of Measurement Partnerships, you will be working alongside a lean partnerships team working on enhancing and expanding The Trade Desk’s Measurement Suite and how we prove the value of our media and advertising. You’ll be focused on building and growing strategic measurement products and partnerships, leading all pieces from strategy to roll-out, to showcase and drive better advertising results. The role is fast paced and dynamic in nature, with requirements ranging from: strategic partnership development and management, facilitating cross-functional collaboration across leadership, legal, marketing and product and lastly, being a key resource and subject matter expert for our Internal Sales and CS teams as well our clients directly.
What you’ll do:
Build, grow and manage new and existing partnerships with leading industry 3rd party measurement and data companies
Collaborate and partner with Product teams on Measurement product vision and roadmap
Act as a key Measurement sales enablement resource and SME to grow usage by helping account and sales teams showcase the value of our Measurement partnerships and solutions to clients
Identify and negotiate smart, strategic partnership opportunities (based on company initiatives and account team feedback) alongside partner and sales growth plans
Drive optimal relationship structure for partnerships with cross-functional teams across Legal, Finance, Marketing etc. while assuring regulatory and contractual compliance
Perform industry research and analysis; remain abreast of trends and partner product/segment enhancements, and educate internal teams on the need-to-know with webinars, client support, and training documentation
Who you are:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited four-year university
5-8 years of relevant experience
Experience creating and building differentiated relationships with strategic partners
Solid business development experience, and can connect opportunity with revenue
Self-motivated problem-solver comfortable wearing multiple and diverse hats
Intellectually curious and forward thinking
Experience in digital media, preferably ad tech and data/measurement
Proficiency with Excel and Powerpoint as analysis and presentation tools
Comfort with public speaking and presenting in front of leadership and clients
Proven communication, questioning and listening skills in formal and informal settings
Comfort with fast-paced, dynamic working environment with shifting priorities
Ability to build excellent rapport with internal (Legal, Finance, Product, etc.) and external stakeholders
Must be comfortable with complexity and thinking on multiple levels of abstraction; demonstrated use of critical thinking skills
Experience with Slack, Jira (or other ticketing systems), and Salesforce a plus
