The Position

Evolve Vacation Rental has strategic partnerships with online travel marketplaces such as HomeAway, VRBO, and Airbnb to name a few. The Director of Marketplace Partnerships will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and expanding those relationships. You will work closely with internal stakeholders and our external partners to optimize our approach on each online site.

You will help our partners understand we provide more value than just a large number of listings; by working with Evolve, they have the potential to increase their performance because we are challenging the performance status quo. This is done by effectively communicating marketplace strategies, subsequent internal and external decisions, as well as new initiatives which help all parties succeed.

Responsibilities

• Manage relationships with marketplaces where Evolve markets homeowner properties and attracts guests
• Establish and implement key performance indicators with partners and internal stakeholders
• Develop a critical understanding of the industry and each marketplace’s demographic to maximize performance for Evolve’s inventory
• Leverage our partner’s platform capabilities and work with internal teams to increase guest conversion and maximize owner performance on each platform
• Effectively disseminate and communicate complex partnership decisions and actions throughout the Evolve organization
• Troubleshoot issues between Evolve’s and partner’s platforms
• Address any other day-to-day needs that foster growth and increased performance
• As the number of marketplaces, listings and guests increase, eventually build and lead a team to help manage these relationships

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of enterprise level account management experience required
• Online marketplace experience a plus
• Four-year college degree preferred
• Ability to manage multiple, strategic projects at once
• Exceptional written and oral communication skills
• Comfortable collaborating with team members of all levels at Evolve
• Knowledge of Salesforce (or other similar CRM) and Periscope Data tool preferred
• Project management background a plus
• Ability to prioritize and work independently
