We are busting at the seams! We need an innovative and accomplished Director, Real Estate & Workplace, projects, and operations leader to help us build and scale globally. As a leader on the Global Real Estate and Workplace (GREW) team, she/he will be leading workplace construction projects, developing design standards, managing office moves, and creating office environments blending creativity and highly efficient workspaces that are aligned to our brand and culture needs. She/He will multitask and deliver in a fast-paced, complex environment while elevating and driving an excellent employee and guest experience through the design, planning, construction & management of our workplace. He/She is expected to integrate best project management practices, leading workplace design principles, and efficient workplace operating methods. She/He will be directly accountable for managing and accomplishing all project requirements/objectives aligned with RingCentral’s culture and business needs.
Essential Job Duties:
Regularly collaborate and interface with vendors, internal clients and business partners, (People, Finance, IT, Procurement, etc.) leadership, to ensure successful delivery of workplace projects and they align with our strategic goals, culture, and branding needs. This includes establishing and achieving goals and objectives, implementing project action plans, responding to and managing internal client, & business partner needs and expectations, and generally act as a trusted advisor.
Manage business requirements, due diligence, programming, design, entitlements, bidding, permitting, procurement, schedule creation/management, contractor selection, vendor selection, sustainability, and post-project delivery handoff to Workplace Services team
Ensure complete financial management of project: establish and manage project budgets, maintain monthly forecasts, cash flow analysis, prepare anticipated cost reports and any other reports as required needed by our Finance & Accounting teams
Demonstrate strong leadership, responsiveness, and creativity in day-to-day workplace project and management activities
Promote change and facilitate continuous improvement in all areas of workplace services
Excellent design focus, attention to detail, and embrace delivering a great experience for employees and guests
Demonstrate competence in broad range of varied project types and operate in high demand, complex, and ambiguous environment
Oversee capital improvement programs with design and construction processes at multiple global sites
Negotiate contracts with selected vendor(s) and manage the performance of all contracted vendors, consultants, etc.
Active management of the team, including adherence to company policy/procedures, staff development, performance management, and team motivation. Convey and ensure adoption of policies and practices to the team
Travel to project sites to ensure successful delivery
Education/Experience/Training
Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, Business Administration or related field. Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of related experience with 5+ years of leadership experience required
Ability to contribute to the strategic direction of the Global Real Estate & Workplace (GREW) team
Advanced project management skills with expertise in project management, design, and workplace experience
Strong advocate for and passionate about workplace, brand, and culture
Must have top-notch collaboration, partnering, & influencing skills
Excellent verbal and written communication, and presentation abilities
Highly developed business and financial acumen, with strong analytical skills Excellent technology skills including MS Office applications, Projects, and related platforms.

If you are hired in Colorado, the compensation range for this position is between $120,000 and $155,000 for full-time employees, in addition to eligibility for variable pay, equity, and benefits. Benefits may include, but are not limited to, health and wellness, 401k, ESPP, vacation, parental leave, and more! The salary may vary depending on your location, skills, and experience.
