Red Canary was founded to create a world where every organization can make its greatest impact without fear of cyber attack. Our combination of market-defining technology, processes, and expertise are preventing breaches every day. What We Believe In
- Do what’s right for the customer
- Be kind and authentic
- Deliver great quality
- Be relentless
What You'll Do
You'll build and lead teams of editorial and subject matter experts who provide valuable, high-quality resources to the broader information security community in service of our company and departmental goals. You’ll define and implement programs that effectively create, refine, organize, and deliver educational resources. This includes identifying and understanding our audience, understanding their key interests and/or problems, determining opportunities where Red Canary has both expertise and interest, and then driving the publication of resources that will help and expand our audience. You’ll work side-by-side with our open source, security operations, engineering and other teams to identify opportunities for resource creation and partner with them to prioritize and produce high-quality articles, videos, presentations, white papers, and more. You’ll partner closely with Growth and Content Marketing on our editorial process and calendar and provide requirements related to our publications and publishing capabilities that can be used to grow our audience. You’ll define key performance indicators that help company leadership understand the overall health of the Community team and progress toward major initiatives. You’ll determine success metrics that will help the team and internal stakeholders measure the impact and reach of Red Canary’s educational content.
What You'll Bring
You are an experienced member of the information security industry who believes that education and effective, open information sharing are critical to both Red Canary and the community’s shared success. As a leader, you have strong interpersonal and communication skills, both in writing and in person. You are an experienced project, program, and personnel manager. You appreciate people and teams who get things done, but at the same time highly value quality and elegance. You are excited by things like a great set of slides or charts and by great documentation. You are comfortable working in a highly collaborative and public-facing role!
Targeted salary range: $125,000- $150,000 + bonus eligibility and equity depending on experience.
