We’re looking for a hands-on Director of Ecommerce Operations to act as a key leader in our Ecommerce Business Unit. The primary responsibility of the eCommerce squad is to ensure the customer has a positive experience and to drive revenue growth. Expertise in systems integration and optimization is a big part of this role.

Business Systems & Operations Strategy

• Key leader supporting Ecommerce Business Unit P&L
• Facilitate systems and infrastructure selection, development, optimization, and operation to ensure smooth and scalable Ecommerce operations
• Optimize fulfillment programs including owned inventory, 3PL, and drop-ship

 People Management

• Prioritize teamwork and drive squad toward achieving short/long term impact and overall strategic company goals
• Demonstrates a high-level of emotional intelligence, openness to change, and the willingness to merge ideas to bring forward the best digital solutions

 Business Development

• Strategically add new vendors/products/services to Simple Energy's online stores to further grow our Ecommerce business units
• Negotiate contracts and agreements with vendors and partners
• Inventory management including demand planning, fulfillment and pricing strategy

 To get started right away you will need:

• Experience: At least 5 years of management experience in a fast-paced environment that touches all aspects of Ecommerce
• Operations Ninja: expert in systems integration including ERP, CRM, and ecommerce platforms. Previous end-to-end implementation experience a plus
• Thought Process: An appetite for problem solving, knack for structured thinking and process creation, ability to spot unusual patterns
• Values: Aligned to Simple Energy’s mission, self-aware and has a positive, proactive attitude
• Discipline: Excellent time management skills and ability to handle multiple projects/tasks simultaneously. Is extremely process oriented.
• Great communicator: Has conflict resolution skills to always maintain a results-oriented work environment. Communicates proactively across the team and with external stakeholders
• Analytical and Detailed: Strong Excel-based analytics and modelling expertise. Experience with Business Intelligence platforms and data warehousing a plus.
• Systems Experience: Prior experience with Netsuite and Salesforce Commerce Cloud strongly preferred
