DispatchHealth is creating the most advanced and complete in-home care model in the world. As a key contributor toward that goal, the Credentialing Director for the DispatchHealth serves as a pivotal role in bringing care to the patient’s home as an alternative to hospitalization. This position leads the company’s first-class credentialing services for our medical providers and supports a streamlined onboarding process so that new providers are fully prepared to begin providing medical care to patients. The Credentialing Director must bring a thorough understanding of clinical licensing and certification requirements across all states and lead continuous improvement of processes and coordinate effectively with training, HR and clinical departments to support providers.

Job Duties:

  • Build and lead first class clinical certification and credentialing programs across all DispatchHealth markets
  • Manage credentialing staff in Revenue Cycle Management and coordinate with employees in other departments to fully onboard and support providers
  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of clinical requirements and stays ahead of trends and challenges to ensure that business timelines are met
  • Ensures that the company tracks all provider licenses and certification timelines and ensures timely renewals so that there are no gaps in coverage
  • Ensures that the company completes provider credentialing and re-credentialing applications, monitors applications and follows-up as needed.
  • Ensures that the company maintains current state licenses, DEA certificates, malpractice coverage and any other required credentialing documents for all providers.
  • Ensures that all company details, including practice addresses, are current with health plans, agencies and other entities.
  • Leads continuous improvement efforts to further streamline credentialing activities.

Job Requirement and Qualifications:

  • Five or more years experience in credentialing with medical providers
  • Experience with multi-state credentialing
  • Experience managing teams
  • Experience with NCQA accreditation, surveys, and delegated audits
  • Understanding of medical malpractice regulations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with providers, management, staff, and contacts outside the organization.
  • Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PPT)
