Job Description:

Director, Arrow Supply Assurance

This position will lead all aspects of the Arrow Supply Assurance team. This team invests in material as manufacturers announce end-of-life to provide manufacturers with a graceful product exit strategy and customers with a long term-source of supply.

What You’ll Do:

• Develop the product and pricing initiatives to ensure profitable sales growth for the business unit while maintaining and developing strong relationships with our current and future suppliers
• Create new business opportunities by engaging with existing and new suppliers to find opportunities for Arrow investment that will enhance the sales, profitability and returns from business unit
• Manage business unit to meet, or exceed, all financial and business metrics including sales, margin, profit, and working capital
• Provide leadership for team of 6 and indirect leadership to greater Arrow organization in areas related to end-of-life and product obsolescence
• Manage, coach, and mentor team members. Provide specific, timely and constructive performance feedback. Define department/corporate initiatives. Define continuous improvements activities for department
• Gather market and competitive intelligence on general market trends and availability ensuring product and pricing strategies align with overall Arrow overall objectives

What We Are Looking For:

• 10-15 years industry experience in electronic components distribution, purchasing, and supply chain management, focused on end-of-life and product obsolescence.
• Experience successfully managing a geographically dispersed team
• 20-25% travel expected, including some international travel
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent preferred
• Ability to build strong internal and external relationships and make critical contacts
