Job Description
• Serve as main point of contact and technical expert for installation, configuration, troubleshooting and testing of hardware and software
• Maintenance of existing systems including Windows and Mac computers, VoIP phones, printers and other office equipment
• Manage and maintain internal ticket queue
• Manage endpoint virus and malware prevention solutions
• Configure cloud based services including Office 365, Google Apps, GoToMeeting, VoIP, and Okta
• Participate in the onboarding of new employees, ensure hardware and accounts are configured, provide training to new employees on laptops, phone and cloud based technology
• Setup and support remote users both domestically and internationally
• Identify and escalate issues to the appropriate knowledge experts as required
• Participate and execute policies, procedures and best practices as a part of the Security and Compliance Program
• The position may require support outside of standard business hours to complete system upgrades, application deployments and provide support for emergencies and outages
• Provide daily management and assignment of roles within physical security access control system
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in technology related field or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 1 years of experience in an internal support role including Microsoft products and PC hardware
• Working knowledge of Windows and Mac PCs, peripherals, network communication protocols and Active Directory
• Familiarity with Google Apps Administration a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot complex issues with third party vendors
• VoIP Telephony experience a plus
• A+ or Network + certifications a plus
• Proven ability to effectively handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously in a quickly changing environment
• Solid communication skills and ability to convey technical solutions to end-users of all abilities
• Ability to work well in cross-functional teams, including software engineers, marketing, account management, sales operations
