Customer Support Specialist
As our Customer Support Specialist, you will report to our Director of Customer Success and be responsible for efficiently responding to customer and candidate questions while maintaining a positive and engaging attitude across verbal and written channels.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Develop an “inside out” understanding of Vangst’s products and services.
- Respond promptly to support inquiries and work towards resolving their questions as effectively as possible.
- Demonstrate a positive, empathetic, and professional attitude toward candidates and customers at all times.
- Listen to customer concerns and complaints with the goal of identifying the causes of the problem.
- Engaging with our product and engineering teams to solve more complex product issues.
- Consistently document and tag all inquiries appropriately in our CRM (Salesforce).
- Assist customers and candidates in using specific features.
- Provide feedback on the efficiency of the customer service process.
- Ensure a high level of candidate and customer satisfaction in all scenarios.
- Refer advanced cases to management for resolution, providing background information as necessary.
- Share feature requests and effective workarounds with team members.
Required Experience:
- 1-2 years of experience as a Customer Support Specialist or similar CS role.
- Comfort with using technology and multiple systems interchangeably
- Understanding of how CRM systems work.
- Personable, action-oriented, and hard-working.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Experience using help desk software.
- Ability to stay calm when customers are stressed or upset.
- Ability to make decisions based on customer needs and know when to escalate issues to management
