Role Description

As Apto's Customer Education Manager, you'll be responsible for onboarding and training customers on how to get the most value out of the Apto platform and their partnership with our Customer Success team. The ideal candidate will have a background in learning and be excited about helping people and problem solving.

You must have a passion for education, with a knack for translating technical capabilities into compelling, human stories. 

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating the best experience possible for new and existing users of our technology and services. We are looking for an excellent project manager, who is highly organized and possesses strong time management skills.

About You

  • 3+ years of experience in Education, SaaS, or Salesforce.
  • Commercial real estate experience is preferred.
  • You are excellent with short- and long-form writing and communication skills.
  • You have proven collaboration with sales, product marketing, or CSM teams.
  • You have experience building highly engaging education content for adults in a variety of modalities (video, webinar, articles, quizzes), and have produced product training materials in written and video-based formats.
  • You are a self-starter and enjoy building new systems and programs from scratch. You are self-directed and know what it takes to build a successful education program from the ground-up.
  • You are a mission-driven individual that will embrace Apto’s mission to put customers first, and successfully convey it through strategic demonstrations of our technology.
  • You have strong project management skills. You must be able to organize work in a methodical and rigorous manner but equally comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
  • You must be a strong self-starter who is willing to make their mark within our company.
  • You are a team player with a low ego, low maintenance, no job too big or small. You are humble. We're looking for a willingness to jump in as needed on anything.
  • You can pull data, identify key trends, and find opportunities for leverage in order to continuously improve programs.

More About the Role

Create vision for Customer Education at Apto 

  • Work in close partnership with Customer Experience, Marketing and Product stakeholders to strategically develop training curriculum.
  • Create and execute a vision for customer education that drives adoption and successful use of Apto’s products.

Design, create and implement learning content that scales

  • Identify learning needs from our customers.
  • Design learning curriculum based on product best practices.
  • Create self-paced instructional content in various formats (video, webinars, written).
  • Implement our Learning Management System.
  • Create highly engaging learning content that meets the needs of all our customers. 

 Guide our customers through training 

  • Process enrollments and onboard learners.
  • Help facilitate a customer's transition from the sales process to their ongoing relationships with our Customer Success team.
  • Develop and facilitate customer 1:1 training, if required.

Drive Customer Success Outcomes

  • Identify ways to train and educate customers at each stage of the customer journey. 
  • Identify opportunities for education to drive growth and adoption.
  • Collect feedback on blockers and opportunities for customers to fully realize the value of Apto.
  • Innovate and develop new systems and processes to increase the efficiency of the onboarding team.
  • Work with Product to help improve upon our software offering through strategic communication of customer needs and experiences.

Monitor, Report, and Refine 

  • Establish a process for monitoring and reporting on effectiveness of the customer education program.
  • Ensure the program is continuously improving based on customer outcomes.
  • Analyze learner feedback, run curriculum improvement projects, audit current courses.

Salary Range: 65-85K
