Job Description

As our Customer Advocacy Manager, your focus is to help make our customers wildly successful and highlight their success. You will have a tight pulse on our happiest of customers and have creative ideas for increasing our customer advocate base. You will get the chance to interact directly with our 11,000+ customers while also working closely with other internal customers such as product marketing, sales, customer success, product education, and onboarding. You will empower management and sales to use customer feedback and data to create and optimize customer programs, identify problems, and implement strategies to accelerate growth of retention and advocacy opportunities. 
 

Responsibilities:

  • Build and execute campaigns to drive retention, education, and advocacy, within our existing customer base.

  • Own the strategy, development, measurement, and execution of customer lifecycle journey campaigns including Pardot nurture tracks, direct mail milestone kits, and holiday gifts. 

  • Manage Conga’s customer advocacy program to mobilize and engage Conga customers throughout the year and during strategic events like Dreamforce and Conga Connect. 

  • Own Conga’s customer reference program to support identifying and matching customer advocates for requests such as sales references, analyst interviews, podcasts guests, webinar speakers, and event panelists 

  • Create programs to drive customer reviews and engagement on sites like G2, Salesforce AppExchange, and Capterra 

  • Collaborate with Product Education and Onboarding teams to provide customers with valuable content and resources to support them throughout their customer journey.

  • Work hand-in-hand with partner marketing team to drive customer education and advocacy through our partners

  • Support Conga’s Executive Advisory Board program strategy and execution

  • Contribute to a culture of innovation by finding new and better ways of doing things: identify, create, and employ innovative approaches to consolidating and distributing customer information. 

  • Other duties as assigned by the Director of Customer Marketing

Qualifications

  • 3+ years’ experience in creating and executing integrated campaigns for demand generation or customer programs

  • SaaS B2B marketing with a strong emphasis on customer programs or demand generation preferred

  • Strong project management skills and ability to use data to guide decision-making and resource allocation 

  • Hard-working, self-starter with a willingness and eagerness to learn

  • Actively participates and collaborates with others across teams to achieve business goals

  • Desire to learn more about customer lifecycle marketing, advocacy marketing, demand generation, customer marketing, and/or campaign development

  • Organized, ambitious, and high-energy that can embrace and navigate a fast-paced, ever-shifting environment

  • Ownership mentality and proven ability to meet deadlines, work collaboratively with others, and ensure high quality deliverables

  • Strong written and oral communication skills

  • Problem solver who is proactive, analytical, and innovative - never satisfied with the status quo.

  • Experience with marketing tools including: Pardot, Salesforce, Salesloft or compatible tools required

  • Familiarity with marketing tools like Sendoso, Wrike, Influitive, and Vidyard are highly preferred 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
