What you’ll do:

Lead and develop a high-performance team by providing direct supervision, performance management, mentoring, desk-level quality assurance, coaching and on- the- job training to ensure consistency in business processes and to provide an exceptional customer experience.

What you can expect:

  • Responsible for all management functions with direct reports including hiring, performance management, timekeeping, expense report approval, etc.
  • Create, implement and maintain effective performance feedback process for direct reports by establishing clear goals and expectations including adherence to standard work; capacity standards; hold reports accountable for results
  • Provide leadership, direction, coaching, mentoring and development of direct reports creating a high performance team and culture of open communication; promote teamwork and cooperation within team and throughout organization
  • Collaborate with discipline managers, business directors and other department supervisors to define clear processes and procedures, as well as discuss potential performance issues
  • Cultivate a culture of learning based on Lean management principles
  • Communicate and partner effectively with all levels of employees and a variety of leaders across the organization
  • Manage time, projects, processes and resources to produce desired department outcomes and results
  • Drive retention and development of a diverse range of talented employees

Additional Duties:

  • Provide input into development of Company’s best-in-class strategies
  • Collaborate with other disciplines on the development of business processes, tools and resources to support strong relationships and the achievement of business and financial objectives
  • Ensure direct reports complete training and educational needed for career development

What you need to be successful:

Bachelor’s Degree preferred. Relevant work experience (similar kind of work at a similar level of work as described in the essential duties) may be substituted for the bachelor's degree. Completion of a degree is encouraged and supported. Three or more years of insurance operation experience or leadership in a processing department. Must be able to prioritize and manage multiple projects and day-to-day activities.

When meeting the requirements, the minimum of what you can expect for this position is $64,300. The actual offer will vary depending on the candidate's skills and competencies.

If you decide to come into the office, we’re just seven miles from downtown Denver, in the heart of the Lowry neighborhood. Our office is minutes away from a variety of restaurants, coffee shops, grocery stores, fitness facilities and lush parks and open spaces.
