As part of the RingCentral Strategic Events team this position is an integral part of the global strategic events programs and will be responsible for driving the success of RingCentral’s internal event programs.

This person will be responsible for the planning and execution of internal events including our Sales Kick Off, partner training days, town halls, and other employee engagements. This person should be a natural problem solver with a strong attention to detail. They will need to act strategically while also executing tactically. This role will be challenged to push boundaries, propose and execute new ideas, and establish best practices.

This person will need to work effectively within a small team and be a strategic problem solver with strong written and polished verbal communication skills. They’ll obsess over details, display poise and sophistication in fast-moving situations, embrace ambiguity, and deliver results.

Role location in Belmont, CA or US Remote.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead all aspects of an event from pre-planning, program development, speaker coordination, procurement of supplies and collateral material, on-site staffing, invoice processing and expense reporting, to post-event analysis and follow up

• Track, measure and analyze impact and outcomes of all corporate events including follow up with our key stakeholders

• Research and understand new event products, technologies and unique and creative ways to set 

• Build internal communication plans to provide exposure and expectations of event deliverables

• Create and manage event timelines and ensure deliverables are met

• Responsible for budget tracking and invoice reconciliation

• Prepare staffing schedules, secure room block’s and train sales staff as needed for third party event success

• Support team onsite to ensure a great end-user experience

• This position requires travel (approx. 30%) and the ability to lift 25+ pounds

Attributes/requirements 

•  Minimum 5 - 10 years experience planning, executing, and measuring events and marketing campaigns of various sizes and scope, specifically in high tech products/services.

• Analytical skills and ability to draw most relevant insights that accurately describe performance and impact metrics, and take action

• Experience with event platforms (Swoogo, Bizzabo, CVENT, Chili Piper, JiffleNow, etc.) and mobile apps preferred

• Deeply collaborative, you excel in fast paced, ambiguous environments.

• Strong communicator with a proven ability to think strategically, but stay on top of tactical execution with a robust attention to detail.

• Ability to navigate a global company and take initiatives to find creative solutions.

• Exceptional organizational, prioritization and time management skills with the ability to effectively execute independently toward multiple, high-priority projects in a timely fashion.
