We are seeking a M&A Integration Specialist for a 6-9 month contract to join our team and help us achieve our ambitious goals for our business and the planet.
What you get to do: We are looking for someone with a get-it-done attitude who is comfortable working largely autonomously, with many competing and changing priorities. This position is a best fit for someone with a passion for understanding business processes, data structures, system integrations, workflows, and controls. This position, and the Information Systems team as a whole, serves as a liaison between many groups, such as Finance, Contracts, People, AR, PP, Operations, and Product. Our perfect candidate has experience in business transactions, NetSuite and/or other ERP platforms, system mapping, process documentation, and has a basic understanding of GAAP/SOX. We are looking for someone who has experience in adding companies, currencies, and localization packages in NetSuite and experience building toward SOX compliance. This role will have a high level of exposure across the business and be required to work closely with many different groups and functions. Candidates need a proven track record of distilling down complex problems and data into actionable insights. This position will be focused on integration of acquires during M&A growth periods, but will extend into a support and improvement role in steady state. Collaborate closely with cross-functional Uplight team and Target company leadership to develop and drive pre and post close integration plans.

  • Help drive the end-to-end M&A integration process, including supporting the due diligence process, developing and executing on integration plans
  • Support transaction teams throughout the due diligence, integration, implementation phases of acquisitions and work closely with key members of Bold Business and client-facing corporate development teams
  • Drive efficiency and system effectiveness by streamlining, standardizing, and automating processes
  • Create your own opportunities by identifying for systemic or process improvements
  • Develop operational process flows and integrations through a complex system web
  • Uncover areas within the business to drive performance improvements to unlock productivity and accelerate execution
  • Engage with technical process experts to help identify solutions to business pain points
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment with cross-functional teams
  • Ownership of system and process documentation

What you bring to Uplight:

  • Bachelor's degree in information systems, computer science, accounting, or finance.
  • 3-5 years in a technical or business analyst role working with NetSuite or a similar ERP.
  • Ability to understand a complex system schema and corresponding process flows.
  • Excellent critical thinking, problem solving, and analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong team player, ability to lead peers in accomplishment of common goals.
  • Enjoyment of balancing numerous different priorities and demands across a wide breadth of topics.
  • NetSuite, combination of implementation, administration, and operation.
  • Multi-currency, translations, and consolidations
  • JavaScript/SuiteScript is a big plus.
  • Self-starting, ability to work with minimal direct supervision; takes ownership.
  • SOX compliance understanding.

Hourly Range: $40.00 to $50.00/hr (6 - 9 month contract)
In accordance with the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act, the approximate annual base compensation range is listed above. The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package and benefits, will be determined by a number of factors including the applicant's experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity among our team.
