Compensation Operations Lead
Zoom is seeking experienced Compensation Operations Lead to work closely with the team and People Experience (PX) teams to help build out processes to help Zoom scale as we grow. The Compensation Operations Lead will fill an important role on the team and be a strategic leader that blends an analytical approach to compensation, with an ability to collaborate with senior leaders and PX business partners to influence outcomes and deliver high impact in this competitive market.
The role reports to the Head of Global Compensation and can either be located in one of our two western offices (San Jose, CA or Denver, CO) or remote-based in the western United States.
Responsibilities
Ensure operational effectiveness in order to scale the team’s impact; build internal processes and systems to support what the company needs today and what it needs in the future
Work with compensation team to roll out and support the implementation of all comp programs, corporate projects and initiatives
Analyze data from global compensation surveys for market pricings, salary structure developments globally, and special reviews
Modeling, statistical analysis and costing of base, incentive and stock programs for guidance in impactful distribution of rewards
Working with HRIS and/or vendors to update Compensation/HR platforms to meet the needs of our team members.
Provides project support, sharing project load of the team. Assures established processes are followed, and works with the team to enhance, refine, and improve processes and programs.
Provides data and program support to comp partners and/or for regulatory and reporting needs.
Requirements
BS/BA and 3+ years of directly related compensation experience in consulting and analyst roles with understanding and experience of tech industry market and trends (CCP preferred)
Partnership and influencing skills, communication skills and customer support at all levels of the company, including senior leadership
Highly responsive and customer service oriented
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis
Expertise in managing projects
Strong initiative, is self-managed and can multi-task
Expertise with analytics, Excel, PowerPoint and Workday
