Overview:
The Community Operations Specialist will join the dynamic and creative Community team to support the growth of the vibrant Alteryx Community. Reporting to the Sr. Community Manager, you will play an integral role on the team by supporting daily operations and leading a team of moderators to maintain a positive atmosphere in a community of passionate and highly-technical business analysts and data aficionados.
Responsibilities
- Serve as one of the public faces of Alteryx in the online community
- Lead a team of moderators, monitor the community and interact with customers, prospects, and partners to ensure positive experiences
- Identify users’ needs, issues, requests and respond or escalate as appropriate
- Assist in the execution of programs, promotions and events to enable, engage and grow the Alteryx user base
- Contribute to the ongoing improvement of the community by troubleshooting issues, testing new features and working with our technical team
- Support the Community team with day to day operations
- Prepare reports with qualitative and quantitative data, insights, and analytics to communicate trends and the value of the community to stakeholders
Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in online community management, moderation or customer support
- Clear, concise, and compelling written and verbal communications; empathy and tact in interacting with community users
- Experience working in a global environment with remote teams
- Passion for providing world class customer experiences
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem resolution skills
- Experience with Lithium, Jive, Salesforce, or other major community platform vendors
- Familiarity with Alteryx, data blending, and advanced analytics a plus
- Highly organized and ability to keep to deadlines
- Curiosity, critical thinking, and a sense of humor
