At Lumere, we are clinicians, researchers, engineers, analysts, marketers, and strategic thought leaders focused on one mission: helping hospital leaders and physicians deliver the highest quality, most efficient care by uncovering and eliminating unwarranted care variation and unnecessary costs - specifically related to device selection and utilization. Our vanguard approach? Partnering with health systems to ensure that care delivery choices are always backed by data and guided by evidence, device costs are justified by clinical outcomes, and doctors and hospital leaders have access to the right insights and analytics to make the best care decisions for every patient. We are a customer-oriented company. We provide a white glove implementation and support experience, offering not just technical documentation, but a robust change management curriculum focused on helping supply chain teams evangelize evidence-based decision-making across their system. No two training plans look the same because no two clients operate exactly the same. For that reason, we pride ourselves on building custom onboarding plans unique to each client's goals so they can get the utmost value from their partnership with Lumere. What you will be doing:

  • Lumere is seeking a skilled trainer to maximize the impact of the customer training approach for our SaaS platform. In addition to leading remote training sessions for clients (and in-person trainings when travel is safe to do), the Client Training Specialist will be responsible for developing scalable delivery of client-facing training using video, e-learning platforms, certification programs, and other approaches.
  • The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, an understanding of adult learning theory and a passion for educating others and building training curriculums that drive results. This person is passionate about tackling complex problems in healthcare and is excited by the ambiguity and opportunity that comes with working in a dynamic, fast-growing technology company.
  • This role will require 30-40% travel to client sites, when travel is safe again. This position is based in Chicago, Illinois, but we are open to remote candidates who're willing to make regular visits to the Chicago office when in-office work reopens.

Responsibilities include:

  • Develop and maintain the client-facing training curriculum for multiple Lumere products
  • Maintain client-facing training content that appropriately bridges product features with client use cases related to the effective use of evidence in product selection, workflow management and effective interpretation of analyses to drive variation reduction
  • Partner with other Lumere teams to integrate training content into the help center, marketing materials and user engagement materials
  • Provide product feedback and contribute cross-functionally to Lumere's culture of continuous improvement
  • Manage Learning Management System (LMS)
  • Lead direct client trainings for implementing clients and those requiring ongoing education (in-person and remote); training sessions range from 1-1 to 30+ attendees of all educational backgrounds (Associates degree to MD, PhD)
  • Assess the impact of client-facing training activities and content retention and identifying areas where additional training is needed to maximize client impact

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • 3 - 5 years in developing and executing software training programs
  • Possess working knowledge of adult learning theory and higher-level learning evaluation models
  • Experience in healthcare preferred, hospital supply chain, EHR training experience or nurse education a plus
  • Experience designing courses for LMS
  • Experience developing training curriculums that support and drive effective change management
  • Strong project management and organizational skills; ability to coordinate, prioritize and manage several projects at once
  • Strong presentation skills - ability to bring high energy and thrive in front of a group
  • Ability to effectively communicate complicated ideas to a variety of personas, from end-users to senior leaders
  • Data gathering and analysis – proficient at working with data to review training evaluation reports and highlighting trends in the data
  • Adaptability and flexibility - ability to create new ideas, try new things, and move quickly to help our team improve
  • Seeks the Frontier - thoughtful about using new tools and technology to increase the scale at which training can be delivered
