As a Client Support Representative at CampMinder, you will support camp staff, parents, and your colleagues to problem-solve and improve processes. You will be trained to advise and empower your clients by providing conscientious, comprehensive, and knowledgeable customer service. You’ll learn how we approach challenging situations with confidence and provide effective solutions with empathy, kindness, and ownership at each step of the process to ensure thorough resolution. This is what sets us apart and enables camps to streamline their business operations in order to spend time creating a positive impact for kids. 

Role Location (updated 9/3*): Due to COVID-19, all CampMinder employees are working from home for the foreseeable future. We ask that you have a reliable, high-speed internet connection and be available during the hours of 8am-5pm Mountain Standard Time. In the event we reopen the office in some capacity, you will need to live within reasonable commuting distance from the office in Boulder, Colorado and be willing to work on-site 1-2 days per week.

A typical day could include:

  • Team meeting via Zoom 
  • Jump on the phones to start helping clients, work on tickets/queries, check your progress on your quarterly goals
  • Help lead a training webinar for clients
  • Participate and/or take a turn leading Client Support’s weekly team  meeting where we celebrate achievements, tackle challenges, and check in on projects
  • Reach out to co-workers for advice or to share a tip you discovered
  • Take part in a  virtual happy hour, trivia game, or in-person social distance social (if you are local)! 

An initial set of responsibilities may include:

  • Developing and sustaining a broad and deep knowledge of the CampMinder platform
  • Providing timely, comprehensive, and empathetic responses to client inquiries/issues as reported via phone or e-mail (input into Salesforce)
  • Identifying opportunities for product or procedural efficiencies and taking ownership to implement improvements
  • Accurately maintaining details and relevant data within the CampMinder CRM in a timely manner
  • Contributing to special projects aimed at improving customer experience
  • Taking part in company-organized meetings, workshops, trainings, and initiatives

  • A propensity toward taking action and ability to prioritize tasks throughout your day
  • Willingness to learn about the needs of the summer camp industry in order to empathize with our clients

Helpful skills/experience but not required: 

  • Working knowledge of G Suite (Google Office suite), proprietary web applications, and Salesforce.com CRM
  • Some command of the Spanish language would be an added value since we work with camps all over the world!

Schedule and Seasonality: 

  • Fall, Winter, Spring 
    • 40 hours/week, Monday-Friday
    • Working on calls, tickets/queries, projects 
  • Summer (May-August)
    • You will be scheduled off a day during the week if you work a weekend day
    • 40-42 hours/week, rotating weekend daytime shift with several other staff
    • Focus is on the high volume of calls to support camp staff

Starting Salary: $45,000
