About The Team
FIS is looking for a Financial Services Client Relations Manager to join our FIS Transfer Agency team. As a Financial Service Client Relations Manager, you will work with an exciting and collaborative team. We are passionate about our work and take a client-first approach to everything we do.
FIS’ Transfer Agency business is one of the most mature units within FIS. We service some of the biggest names in the financial services industry with a diverse group of highly experienced individuals. We expect teamwork, individual accountability and the commitment to get the job done!
What Will You Be Doing?
In this role, you provide in-depth product support to FIS clients by resolving incoming inquiries.
Develops strong working relationships with assigned clients and FIS resources.
Responds to customer product inquiries via telephone or in written internet-based email or chat sessions.
Documents customer information and recurring technical issues to support product quality programs and product development.
Recreates client issues in test environment, Identifies/documents how applications and systems interact to support business processes.
Manages the service component of the client relationship.
Conducts regularly scheduled status calls with client to discuss important key service topics, to review projects in clients queue and to discuss available service offerings.
Acts as an escalation point for client
Monitors monthly service level management reports to identify possible trends in service level agreement (SLA) “misses”.
Participates in project kickoffs to ensure understanding of project expectations and scope, ensures proper resources are assigned, monitors target dates and ensures billing is accurate and on time.
Identifies additional opportunities to provide more products, services or other resources to customer and refers to managing director/relationship manager.
May participate in business reviews to learn about clients’ strategic direction as well as gain a good understanding of the products and/or services FIS is offering.
Other related duties assigned as needed.
What You Bring:
Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science or related discipline or the equivalent combination of education, training, or work experience
2+ years of prior mutual fund, accounting, transfer agent, brokerage, banking or financial service-related experiences
Prior customer service, account management or client relationship experience preferred
Communicates ideas both verbally and in written form in a clear, concise, and professional manner
Working knowledge of FIS systems as well as the financial services industries a plus
Ability to understand and apply concepts
Ability to handle projects commensurate with job expectations
Ability to analyze and solve problems using learned techniques and tools
Requires human relations, negotiation, technical and documentation skills
Team skills, including the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships both internally as well as externally
