Inboxlab is looking to hire a Chief of Staff to join our growing team.

Based in Denver, Colorado, Inboxlab is an incubator that builds companies revolving around email. Founded in 2017 by serial entrepreneur and angel investor, Nicholas Pardon, Inboxlab seeks to create value in new and existing companies by leveraging our core competencies around data, marketing, branding, and most importantly, the inbox.

Inboxlab presently focuses in two primary verticals: travel and gaming. Our mission-based travel brand, The Discoverer, reaches over million subscribers with its weekly editions and the Inbox Games network currently serves 3,000,000+ game plays monthly.

About the role

The Chief of Staff oversees day-to-day operations, driving optimal performance to accelerate growth. This role works alongside with the CEO, combining product strategy, team leadership, financial planning, business management, internal communications, and cross-functional initiatives. Inboxlab’s Chief of Staff’s ultimate mission is to ensure the company has the right processes and resources (team and technology) in place to meet and exceed its goals.

What you’ll be doing

• Articulate the CEO’s vision and track progress against company goals.

• Lead strategic initiatives and special projects on behalf of the CEO.

• Monitor progress of key initiatives and priorities by meeting regularly with team leaders to track results and challenges; ensure that company commitments and priorities are being executed.

• Drive strategic cross-functional initiatives and projects most important to the CEO.

• Act as a daily point-of-contact for team members and provide solutions, tools and improved processes to maximize efficiency and promote individual growth.

• Attend meetings and participate in projects with, or on behalf of, the CEO.

• Prepare communication and research for the CEO, including, but not limited to, company updates, presentations and data analysis.

• Conduct meeting preparation and research: You will be responsible for providing research and insight for all CEO meetings as well as ensuring that all internal meetings have a defined agenda and objectives.

• Accompany the CEO to meetings, notate details and manage all follow-up actions and communications (including any additional research to inform next steps).

• Partner with the CEO to determine and outline company goals.

• Provide team growth planning based on company needs and goals.

• Communicate company plans, priorities, goals and results to the team.

• Perform quantitative analysis to drive business decision making.
   

What you’ll need to bring

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience; MBA a plus.

• 5+ years of management consulting experience.

• 5+ years digital marketing experience; experience in the travel vertical or online gaming a plus.

• 4+ years experience with email marketing (technical, marketing, and analysis).

• Growth mindset, driven by intense curiosity.

• Proven track record of strategic planning, goal setting, and successful execution.

• Strong technical background.

• Proficiency with product management tools.

• Experience with financial analysis and P&L management.

• Strong leadership skills.

• Excellent oral and written communications skills, including formal presentations.

• Ability to manage multiple tasks in an organized and efficient manner.

• Proficiency in Google Docs, Sheets, and Slides.
