Change Control Manager
The Change Control Manager oversees policies and principles of change control management across technology teams. For all documented change tickets, participates and manages audit activities and practices. Creates and manages deployment and maintenance schedules, documented change activity, produces reports, owns and operates key change management meetings/ceremonies, identify and capture key metrics. Designs, develops, rolls out change control processes and/or JIRA ticket workflows.Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Manages IT change management processes of both maintenance and deployment change activities.
- Provide JIRA administration to create/manage change control workflows and issue types
- Maintains effective communications with technology business partners, stakeholders and leadership
- Monitor and coach staff/employees for process compliance
- Administrate change request activity, planning and workflow
- Chair Change Advisory Board (CAB) and other ceremonial change meetings
- Participate in/lead Post Implementation Reviews
- Engage with other ITIL process owners to identify incidents/problems resulting from change
- Strong documentation, communication skills and attention to detail
Qualifications
- 5+ years: Strong Process Analyst and/or Project Management, IT experience preferred
- HS Diploma required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Proven ability to function within a fast-paced and high-pressure environment.
- Able to effectively manage multiple projects, work across multiple teams and multiple disciplines
- Experience or familiarity with software build/deployment change workflow.
- Experience or familiarity with complex data center and/or cloud technology solutions, infrastructure practices and services.
- Windows and/or Unix OS proficiency.
- Experience or familiarity with the following methodologies and/or concepts
- Agile/Kanban development
- ITIL or MOF Change Management (desired)
- Database Management System - DBMS (desired)
- Experience or familiarity with the following tools and/or technologies:
- Ticketing System (e.g., JIRA, JQL, Salesforce, Tivoli, Remedy, Bugzilla, etc.) (preferred)
- Relational database knowledge, query writing (Oracle/SQL Server) (preferred)
- Source code control (e.g., Bitbucket, GIT, SVN, ClearCase, etc.) (desired)
- Build technologies (e.g., Bamboo, Chef, Jenkins/Hudson, Gradle, Maven) (desired)
- Project Library and/or Asset Repository Management (Maven, Nexus, Artifactory, Archiva) (desired)
- Scripting (e.g., Bash Shell, Power Shell, Perl, SQL, Script Runner, etc.) (desired)
Estimated salary range for this position: $100,000 - $112,000The base salary range represents the anticipated low and high end of the GHX's salary range for this position. Actual salaries will vary and will be based on various factors, such as candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies and proficiency for the role. The base salary is one component of GHX's total compensation package for employees.
