Our email certification team is growing, and we have a new opening for a Certification Program Associate. We certify the best email senders in the world, and our Certification Program Associates are responsible for reviewing the email practices and behaviors of companies applying for program membership. This is an entry level position that pays $40,000 a year.
As a Certification Program Associate you will:

  • Review new member applications and compare to established program requirements
  • Research company characteristics and validate sending practices including: Business Model, Infrastructure, Websites, Email Performance, Email Content
  • Work closely with Certification Analyst team and Sales on the hand-off of prospects
  • Assist with various internal program administration projects as assigned

What does it take to be successful in this role?

  • 1 to 3 years of work experience in a customer service or support environment or other applicable experience or education. 
  • Experience using email and web search tools.
  • Excellent time management and prioritization skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and administrative projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to perform individual functions with minimal supervision, as well as act within a team setting.
  • A track record of success in a team environment with demonstrated service, analytic, and troubleshooting skills.
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills regarding administrative, operations, and service support roles.
  • Strong focus on client service and the ability to interact with people at all levels.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Google Apps and Internet/Web-based Applications.

Role Specific Competencies:

  • Product Knowledge - Knows and explains product features/benefits and competitive position, understands/sells the full product line, understands customer's business operations and needs, understands/responds to the competition, applies market knowledge.
  • Quality - Is attentive to detail and accuracy, is committed to excellence, looks for improvements continuously, monitors quality levels, finds root cause of quality problems, owns/acts on quality problems.
  • Customer Service - Responds to customer questions and addresses complaints, communicates well with customers, handles service problems politely and efficiently, available for customers, follows procedure to solve customer problems, understands company products and services, maintains pleasant and professional image.
  • Communication - Communicates well both verbally and in writing; utilizes appropriate medium for communication based on the situation, delivers effective presentations, shares information and ideas with others, has good listening skills. Has ability to explain abstract / complex concepts to middle & upper management, both verbally and in writing, and influence behavior.
