Overview

The Business Operations Manager will play a crucial role in supporting the rapid growth of the ReCharge organization. Reporting into the COO, the role is a hybrid of traditional jobs in strategic planning, operations, research, and analysis - requiring a mix of market analysis and business operational support. Projects will range from strategic to highly operational, including evaluating how we scale select teams, owning special projects, regular review of key performance metrics and cascading communication to department heads. This role requires interaction with large parts of the organization and provides high visibility to senior executives. The right candidate will have relentless curiosity, can deal with ambiguity, excels at extracting insights from data and converting ideas to action.

What You'll Do

  • Program manage complex, large scale, cross-functional initiatives to ensure programs are delivered on time with an exceptional degree of quality
  • Create program charters, help define cross-functional program structures and collaborate with contributing teams to define and build comprehensive program plans
  • Drive accountability with initiative contributors to ensure work is being driven with speed and is on track
  • Partner with the COO to actively manage & mitigate program risks and dependencies to unblock teams as challenges arise
  • Prepare and participate in executive quarterly and annual planning
  • Develop and execute comprehensive communications and change management plans to drive the change throughout the organization

What You'll Bring

  • 3-5+ years of related experience in project/ program management and process improvement
  • Work experience in management consulting or strategic/analytical roles at top companies preferred
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to navigate teams from various internal and external organizations
  • Excellent communication with senior leaders, contributing teams, and stakeholders, both verbally and in writing (email/ presentations)
  • Strong ability to work independently, navigate ambiguity, and innovate under new and/or changing conditions
  • Proven problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience, MBA is preferred 

Bonus Skills

  • Experience with e-commerce, subscription billing, or payment platforms
  • Experience with statistical programming languages a plus
  • Ability to provide a business lens to analytical and technical problems and communicate findings to a technical, non-technical and/ or internal audience
  • Experience with Looker or other BI platforms a plus
