Bespoke Travel Advisor
Denver-based hospitality Company seeks a dynamic, results-oriented candidate with experience managing highly curated luxury travel programs. Candidates must be extremely detail oriented, customer service focused, and possess 2+ years of curated travel or event planning experience.
Responsibilities:
- Selling and catering to an affluent clientele for complex Bespoke trips
- Provide personalized member service by building rapport, maintaining consistent and professional communication to ensure member satisfaction throughout the Bespoke trip process
- Articulate, educate and sell the advantages and benefits of the Bespoke department
- Understanding Sales techniques and methods to close business
- Be results driven to achieve the department sales goal of trip revenue
- Be able to deal with objections, rejection and maturely handle the highs and lows of selling luxury Bespoke trips
- Be responsible for their potential sales pipeline in Salesforce and reporting weekly, monthly, and quarterly metrics
- Managing and leading a Discovery Call for a Bespoke trip request from a member
- Develop luxury Bespoke experiences and ensure that the operations of each trip are handled with care and detail
- Conflict resolution skills when dealing with member and vendor relationships
- Communicating, articulation and determining the desired trip costs and financial commitments by the member
- Maintain accurate billing payments and invoicing for Bespoke trips
- Ability to determine margins that have a financial impact on the sale of the trip
- Error-free written communications to provide critical trip details
- Review vendor itineraries in depth for accuracy before submission to members, during the revision period, and prior to trip departure with all final trip documents
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple trips with a high volume of output with acute attention to detail and accuracy
- Advanced knowledge of many geographical areas of the world when it comes to luxury travel and the products available.
- Research and maintain knowledge of travel industry products, innovations, destinations, and vendors
Required
- Experience interacting with and serving affluent clientele in the travel industry
- Self-driven with maintaining a personal schedule to accomplish daily tasks
- Excellent phone manner to communicate and build relationships internally and externally
- Flexible work and travel schedule, willing to work and travel over weekends or be available for any issues that arise with member travel
- Must be comfortable traveling alone and planning flights, hotels, and itineraries in a cost-effective manner
Qualifications:
- Excellent understanding of airline booking requirements and implications to a trip itinerary
- Good understanding of international passport and visa regulations in many countries
- Knowledge of Virtuoso travel consortia and what benefits it can offer to members
- Experienced with current communication technology/systems (MS Outlook, Salesforce, Chat applications) and an aptitude to learn new systems
- Extensive global travel experience
- Travel Industry knowledge & background
- Multilingual is a benefit
