Candidate ProfileWe are seeking an individual committed to becoming the face of Travelers Haven within the apartment housing industry. The ideal hire will be the bridge connecting our housing team with the top property management companies in the US. Through relationship building and negotiation you will leverage volume to establish preferred leasing terms, grow our brand and reputation. 

Responsibilities:

• Build and manage relationships with Property Managers, Regionals, and Marketing contacts within the apartment rental industry.
• Executing master agreements with apartment communities and property management companies.
• Vetting of new and existing apartment communities ensuring Travelers Haven is able to provide reliable housing to a wide range of budgetary needs.
• Oversee rating of communities based on class and relationship.
• Encourage team adoption and utilization of in-network properties.

Requirements:

• Experience within or working with the apartment rental industry.
• Knowledge of apartment community marketing budgets and best practices.
• Existing relationships within the apartment rental community.
• Ability to build relationships from scratch.
• Keen understanding of negotiation.
• Must be proactive.
• Must be a self-starter & work with urgency.
• Exemplary organizational skills.
• Must be able to work independently as well as take instruction from supervisor.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Must have the ability to quickly learn systems, processes, and procedures.
