In order to accelerate our growth and achieve our mission to serve 1000s more students, we've raised over $70 million from top tier investors including Felicis Ventures, Bessemer Venture Partners, and Redpoint Ventures (among other social impact and VC partners!). Now, we’re looking to add an Academic Operations Coordinator to the team.

The Academic Operations Coordinator will support the Academic Operations and Student Services teams in their day-to-day execution of their jobs - largely focused on data entry and quality assurance operations - as well as partnering with cross-functional colleagues to drive continuous improvement to Academic Operations and Student Services key outcomes, including student enrollment, retention and completion.

A day in our open, collaborative workspace will look a little like this:

  • Supporting the managers of the Academic Operations department to track critical academic operating metrics and data from various technology tools and systems
  • Effective and detail-oriented data entry and quality assurance processes to support academic operations including, but not limited to: upload and review of transcripts, confirmation of add/drop dates, entry of course start and completion data on a weekly basis, and quality assurance checks for each operation
  • Coordinating and executing student enrollment and support operations, including: manage external enrollment files, send nudge emails to encourage student academic performance, monitoring course performance data in CRM system
  • Connecting with the Student Services, Product, Engineering and Finance Teams to solve problems and identify areas of opportunity to improve both data entry and quality assurance processes
  • Utilizing systems such as Salesforce, excel, and calendar and scheduling tools to provide support to team members as needed
  • Completing special projects related to the launch of new university or learning provider partners, and the general improvement of team efficiencies; may require limited analysis function

In this role, you’ll grow and expand your expertise by:

  • Taking on a cross-functional role that will expose you to the ins and outs of Guild
  • Showing initiative by solving unique problems across our student operations team
  • Participating in the development of prototype processes to improve key outcomes

  • Your attention to detail in critical data entry processes foster efficiency in academic and business operations
  • Successful completion of required tasks with a high degree of accuracy and in a timely manner
  • Improving student enrollment, retention, and completion rates
  • Assisting with implementing programs that help team managers to drive high employee satisfaction and employee retention rates
  • Receiving feedback through our learning-focused twice annual Structured Growth Conversations

  • Strong data entry and quality assurance skill set, with demonstrated experience utilizing CRM systems like Salesforce
  • Ability to successfully manage multiple complex, cross-functional projects at the same time
  • Experience using analytical approaches to develop, measure and evolve processes
  • Ability to develop strong relationships and communicate effectively while under pressure - balancing confidence, humility, and diplomacy internally and externally
