Job Description

NU OTR Projects Business Unit Finance Manager is responsible for providing financial leadership to a portfolio of large and complex OTR projects for power generation equipment.  You will have overall responsibility for margin expansion and CFOA maximization for each project in his portfolio.

What you'll do:

  • Responsible for main project financials (sales, margin, CFOA, reserves). Work closely with Project Managers to identify opportunities and mitigate risks
  • Working closely with Project Managers and Contract manager to support customer and suppliers negotiations aimed to protect/maximize margin and CFOA
  • Working closely with Project Finance Managers (PFMs), Operations and Global Supply Chain to monitor and manage project cost within budget. Support GSC and Cost Control team in identifying and track Savings and cost-out initiatives
  • Support quarterly project margin reviews, reporting on the project status, primary projects risks and action items required to mitigate those risks, and expected financial condition at the conclusion of the project
  • Responsible for Project P&L and Balance Sheet, partner with PFMs and global controllership team and ensure proper quarterly Balance Sheet account reconciliations
  • Coordination and supervision of the quarterly financial closing for his/her project portfolio with PFMs, including Sales booking entries in accordance with US GAAP and Revenue Recognition policy. Coordinate with PFMs to maintain accurate project accounting
  • Working with Treasury to monitor of FX volatility through different Legal Entities & functional currencies

What you'll bring:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college in finance / accounting or equivalent knowledge or experience (for Hungary degree is a must)
  • At least additional significant experience with financial operations and their implementation into the business function
  • Excellent command in English both written and verbal
