TITLE: Network Engineer IV
LOCATION: Englewood, CO
JOB SUMMARY: Test and validate Customer Premise Equipment (CPE). Evaluate product and technical requirements to provide feedback to Product, Architecture, and other partner teams. Perform test plan development, documentation, evaluation, and execution. Establish and troubleshoot test network environments to facilitate device testing and qualification. Perform system-wide end-to-end integration and regression testing. Document test results and review with designated teams and vendors. Participate in weekly bug classification and work prioritization activities. Partner with equipment manufacturers to resolve issues discovered during testing and development. Partner with operations teams to implement solutions identified in the lab environment. Create and distribute root cause analysis, field engineering bulletins, and "reason for outage" documentation. Provide training to operations teams in support of these documents. Create certification handoff documentation and communicate critical details with operations teams. Train junior engineers on new testing methodologies and provide technical mentorship to team members. Provide automation requirements to development teams to increase team efficiency. Participate in technical evaluation and selection of engineering personnel. Monitor certification life-cycle progress and intervene or escalate when needed.

EDUCATION/REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. 4 years of experience validating networks using Wireshark and iPerf; enabling high-bandwidth data transfer using DOCSIS; and engaging in test case development and execution of hardware and software including cable modems, wireless routers and embedded media terminal adapters (eMTA). 3 years of experience with integrating Wi-Fi utilizing Plume or SCP. *A hybrid (office and remote) arrangement is available.

The pay for this position has a salary range of $109,678 to $156,600. The actual salary offer will carefully consider a wide range of factors, including your skills, qualifications, experience and location. Also, certain positions are eligible for additional forms of compensation such as bonuses.
