This is an opportunity to join the IERUS team as a Network Engineer III supporting a large Missile Defense Agency program.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 2 years’ experience and be responsible for, but not limited to: learning how to plan, deploy, integrate, and test upgrades to the network and to operational sites; helping where needed; traveling to remote locations to perform network installations, troubleshoot, and provide status updates to Program personnel.
Required Qualifications:
- B.S. or M.S. in a related discipline.
- Security+ CE certification or equivalent DoD 8570 IAT Level II certification.
- Must be a US citizen with an active Secret clearance.
- Must be able to travel to alternate work locations, such as Schriever Space Force Base, Alaska, Guam, Europe, etc., to execute job duties such as deployments.
- Knowledge of network design, development, and testing methodologies.
- Understanding of the OSI Model, TCP/IP, routing protocols BGP and OSPF.
- Network traffic analysis, diagnostic, and troubleshooting skills.
- Firewall knowledge in Juniper, Fortinet, and Palo Alto.
- Must know UDP multicast, SONET, MSPP, VLANs, GRE Tunnels, and TCP/IP network designs.
- Multi-vendor switching routing (Juniper, Cisco), WAN optimizer, TACLANEs, and optical transport equipment.
- Must be an effective communicator with excellent writing and presentation skills using Microsoft Office products, especially PowerPoint and Visio.
Desired Qualifications:
- Top Secret Clearance desired

The proposed salary range for this position is $77.9k - $128.7k. Salaries are commensurate with candidate experience and qualifications within the experience bandwidth, as well as market and business considerations.
