Vice President of Marketing
Devetry is a software development company located in Denver. We are seeking an experienced Vice President (VP) of Marketing to lead the design, implementation, and monitoring of our multi-channel marketing strategy. The VP of Marketing must have extensive experience in B2B marketing, preferably in consulting and professional services in the tech industry. The ideal candidate is a creative, metrics-driven self-starter who brings innovative marketing ideas that drive awareness and engagement with our brand.
The VP of Marketing must be a collaborative team player with a hands-on approach. While serving as the strategic thought leader, this position requires someone who is willing to roll up his/her sleeves to get the job done. This position will report to the CEO and work closely with the Digital Marketing Director and VP of Business Development. The VP of Marketing is responsible for ensuring that the integrated marketing activities contribute to the business revenue goals and the company's long-term success.
Responsibilities:
Work with marketing team to develop and implement a cohesive marketing plan to increase brand awareness
Prioritize marketing projects and allocate resources accordingly
Set current and long-term goals with internal teams
Build relationships with key stakeholders by attending and planning local events
Conduct market analysis to identify challenges and opportunities for growth
Coordinate integrated weekly meetings with CEO and VP of Business Development
Prepare regular reports and presentations on marketing metrics for the CEO
Design and manage the marketing team’s budget
Provide guidance and ideas to organize effective marketing events
Forecast hiring needs for the marketing department
Participate in the quarterly planning meetings
Track competitors’ activities
Operationalize internal processes for marketing team
Monitor all marketing campaigns on a weekly basis in order to guide changes for improvement
Requirements:
Proven work experience in the professional services industry as a VP of Marketing, Marketing Director or other marketing executive role
Experience designing and implementing successful marketing campaigns
Strong communication and leadership skills
Excellent analytical and project management skills
Strategic mindset, with the ability to make difficult decisions
Solid knowledge of Social, SEO, web analytics, and Google Adwords
Experience with content development and distribution strategy
Previous work with CRM software and digital marketing tools/techniques
