Onemata/LocalBlox: Increasing Prosperity on Main Street, Worldwide.

At Onemata/LocalBlox we are developing an extensive array of global data tools that will change the way companies find new customers and leverage data to help them solve their largest challenges.

We are in need of a Technical Content Marketing Manager to lead, guide, and develop all aspects of content development and distribution. The perfect candidate is a maniac! A doer/leader, with an emphasis on doer. It’s important to understand that in a small company environment it is up to all of us to get the work done. Our expectation is that the Technical Content Marketing Manager will grow within our organization, building and expanding the team required to meet our ever-growing demands.

We are a young company (founded in 2017) with a strong leadership and technological foundation. Our team of nine is seasoned and experienced at growing and managing new ventures.

If you want to grow, stretch and learn every day, we might be the right firm for you. Working at Onemata/LocalBlox involves a diversity of tasks, a collaborative environment and creativity to solve problems we have never seen. Onematan’s work hard, and also appreciate a life outside of work. As a team member you’re encouraged to ask questions, support each other and voice your opinions & ideas.  If you like working for a value driven enterprise, being relied on, and you can handle the demands and diversity of work inherent in an emerging company, we encourage you to apply.

What we're looking for:

Ideally you will possess a deep expertise with HubSpot, Outreach , Salesforce, Hootsuite, and Teamwork. In addition to being a world class developer of the written word, you will also understand the art of SEO to ensure the material you are developing is seen by the right audience. But wait, there’s more! We have built a state-of-the-art video production studio to expand storytelling to a different medium.

As the content leader, you will work closely with our CRO, Mike, and our internal team to create insightful and technically relevant content, including website content, videos, white papers, demos, blog posts, media content, email campaigns, product descriptions, corporate presentations, social media posts, and whatever else you can think of. You will embody the can do, get-er done attitude of Onemata/LocalBlox to both internal and external audiences through publishing to a variety of channels.

We are in it to win it- and there is no one here to tell you no to new and leading-edge ideas.

Some of the primary job responsibilities:

  • Create technical marketing materials that a sophisticated audience will value as a resource. We are not into the “fluff”. Our products are for serious businesses, and the people we are reaching know the technologies. We need to speak straight to them in a voice they will respect and appreciate.
  • Implement an authoring strategy: platform, tools, standards, policies, objectives, workflows, calendar and voice.
  • Define the go-to-market and engagement strategy for all new content, across every product channel.
  • Provide leadership for a structured approach to content governance.
  • Direct involvement with sales, engineering, and product management teams
  • Manage/develop media relations, including relationships with journalists and bloggers for stories, press releases, and interviews.
  • Develop written materials ranging from site content, product collateral, third party success stories, use cases, corporate and product level presentations, press releases, and story pitches for presentations.
  • Attend industry functions and network in the community

Social skills you'll need to demonstrate:

  • Ability to take on pressure and finish work under deadlines. Love the problem!
  • Prioritize tasks. As a startup we always have a million and one things going on.
  • Play nicely with others. Be a part of the Onemata family and exemplify our values through external interactions.
  • Self-motivated.
  • Organize tasks and deliverables.
  • Speak your truth even if it’s the unpopular opinion.
  • Be eager to learn. There is always a risk of messing up, but without risk there is no room for growth.
  • Love the client and find a way to say “yes”. If we don’t offer a direct solution, there is surely a way we can help.

Qualifications & work experience:

  • BA/BS degree.
  • 3-5 years of technical writing and/or information architecture background.
  • Experience working within an enterprise data firm is prioritized.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Be able to point out any mistakes in this post.
  • Comfortable juggling multiple projects and taking on tasks outside of your defined job scope, while never losing sight of the core focus and goal behind your work.
  • Positive attitude and willingness to be involved in all areas of the company.
  • We encourage you to apply if Onemata is an environment that excites you. We consider candidates of all experience levels and will evaluate applicants based on experience, strengths, and career goals.
