Sr. Traffic Acquisition & Growth Manager (Remote)
Denver, CO
Name.com is a growing, dynamic, and profitable domain and hosting services provider. Together with our parent company Donuts Inc. (ranked as one of the fastest-growing U.S. Private Companies on the 2021 Inc. 5000 list), we have a vision of becoming the most recommended provider of online presence solutions.
We’re a small, passionate, tight-knit team, where 5-10 years at the company is more often the norm than the exception. We’ve got a great reputation for company culture and work-life balance, a fantastic downtown office, and flexible remote work policies that fit your lifestyle. As the world opens back up, we’re getting back to our team events like baseball games, scavenger hunts, and happy hours.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking an expert in traffic acquisition and growth. You’ll get familiar with our target customers and value proposition, and find opportunities to drive qualified, high-quality traffic to the Name.com website. You’ll create the strategy, identify the right internal and external resources to work with, and see tangible, impactful results from your efforts.
As part of this role, you will be the master of utilizing data and analytics to drive our organization’s traffic and growth. You will rely heavily on analytics to make decisions and possess an “ROI mindset”. You are nimble and know that oftentimes the initial strategy is just a kernel of an idea and requires ideation, vetting, and iteration. You enjoy collaborating with others and know that the best strategy usually requires cross-functional input.
Big Picture Responsibilities
Own strategy, budget, and execution for driving new and recurring traffic to the Name.com website. Organic traffic, paid traffic, and earned media channels will be your focus areas, with an overarching goal of dramatically increasing top-of-funnel traffic.
Take an analytics-driven approach to developing hypotheses, testing opportunities, and evaluating the impact of your strategies and tactics.
Collaborate with teammates to ensure your work aligns with other growth efforts. Your primary focus will be on organic-traffic driven efforts with an integration of paid techniques.
Daily Activities will include
Partner with consultants, agencies, and other third parties to plan and execute Name.com’s SEO, paid and content strategy.
Be the subject matter expert on traffic growth and methods to increase B2C site traffic (organic, paid, SEO impact) and provide best practices and processes for the product and engineering teams.
Set goals, track KPIs, and report on progress for organic growth.
Build an outreach and link building program that drives consistently high quality links
Manage a selection of Name.com’s high-priority, traffic-driving partnerships
Build and execute strategy for growing Name.com’s affiliate program
Utilize Google Analytics, Google Search Console, SEMRush, Quantum Metric, and other tools to inform decisions with quantitative and qualitative data.
Requirements
Minimum 6 years experience driving strategy and execution of impactful, large-scale traffic acquisition projects
Systematic approach to growth through regular hypothesis, experimentation and iteration
Understand SEO trends, be aware of pending algo updates, and understand what it takes to rank highly in search.
Proven experience with affiliate, referral, and/or partner marketing programs
Have an entrepreneurial mindset and enjoy the opportunity to investigate new opportunities, evaluate their output, and pivot.
