Sr. Product Marketing Manager
Overview
The Gogo Business Aviation Sr. Product Marketing Manager will provide direction and expertise that drives the next generation new product launch activities across a product portfolio. This role will own the launch plan, drive the go-to-market strategy and product positioning for a suite of products. You will work closely with the Product Managers in the portfolio to establish a valuable and differentiated position for the portfolio in the Business Aviation marketplace to launch new products and grow market share profitably.
You will work closely with marketing operations, strategic marketing, creative, public relations, product management, sales, sales operations, and technology teams throughout the organization.

How will you make a difference?
- Plan the launch of new products and releases and manage the cross-functional implementation of the go-to-market strategy
- Partner closely with marketing and product managers, lead the development and execution of product marketing strategies to drive market awareness, interest, and sales for products in the portfolio
- Drive sales growth by empowering sales and account management team to become better storytellers about how our clients can leverage Gogo’s solutions through development of narratives, sales training content, sales tools, collateral, knowledge bases, demos, and client testimonials that support the entire buying and client lifecycle
- Create and maintain Gogo product communication strategy and messaging, as required
- Work closely with select customers, and internal teams to document market requirements
- Conduct market research to understand industry and consumer factors affecting product strategies
- Strengthen product communications for tradeshows or events as needed e.g. product-related materials; attend tradeshows / conferences relevant to products
- Develop and maintain collateral for new products (major) or features (minor) and to support existing products
- Support product obsolescence activities in cooperation with Product Management including messaging, upgrade path, etc.
- Write product-oriented content e.g. articles, white papers, etc.
- Aid in the development of product facts, videos, podcasts, FAQs, talking points, etc.
- Collaborate with Product Management to develop, in laymen’s terms, feature overviews, product launch plans and release overview communications
- Optimize the positioning, messaging and marketing strategies for the products in the portfolio for business aviation segments and decision-maker personas
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related business degree (MBA is a plus), or equivalent work experience
- 7-12 years of B2B experience in any combination of product marketing, product, marketing or business strategy experience, with a portfolio that proves success

- Demonstrated success in executing new product launch (NPI) and go to market activities
- Excellent communication and presentation skills to drive thought leadership with external and internal customers
- Ability to convey complex concepts to senior leadership team with proven experience driving decision making
- Strong project management skills, with success driving multiple projects simultaneously
- Passionate advocate of the customer experience.
Preferred Skills, Talents & Experience
- Experience with Sirius Decisions and/or Pragmatic Marketing models
- Experience in telecom, aviation, or technology
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
- Be a passionate and influential evangelist, internally and externally, for the product portfolio
- Entrepreneurial with a strong inclination towards action
- Ability to be self-directed to solve business issues in defined product area
- Adept at resolving issues amidst ambiguity and complexity
- Clear passion about Gogo portfolio and ability to identify possibilities in our industry

Base Pay:
120,000.00 - 150,000.00 USD Annual
Target Annual Short-Term Incentive:
Bonus Plan at 10% (% of Annualized Base Pay)
